Meet Milly

Meet Milly van Dam. She is passionate about holding compassionate space for her clients and guiding them to interpret their body’s language confidently. Her work gently reminds them of their innate wisdom within.

With an ever-evolving curiosity for the human body, Milly’s path has led her through many areas of learning – from sports science and strength & conditioning to clinical naturopathy and medical herbalism. Through this journey, she has developed a profound understanding of the body’s physiology and pathology, as well as a deep appreciation for its resilience and natural ability to restore balance. With nature as her biggest muse, Milly weaves its rhythms, medicines, and wisdom into every aspect of her work.

Milly also knows what it feels like to live in a body that feels out of balance – navigating a concussion, post-TBI depression and emotional overwhelm, debilitating PMS, eczema flares, and chronic bloating. For years, she moved through life in a state of doing, overriding her body’s signals and feeling disconnected from her inner rhythm.

Her own healing unfolded through a journey of softening and self-exploration – one that was not linear. Through restoring her gut, supporting her nervous system, and nurturing self-compassion, she gradually attuned to her own rhythm and found ease and comfort within her body.

This journey shapes her practice today: she meets each client where they are at – with non-judgment, compassion, and understanding – guiding them to reconnect with their bodies, interpret symptoms as meaningful messages, and restore balance naturally and sustainably.

Pathways to healing

Clinical nutrition

Using evidence-informed clinical nutrition, your body’s needs are met first by addressing your diet and the application of the therapeutic benefits that whole foods have to offer. I may then enhance your nutrition with practitioner-only supplements where needed to correct deficiencies.

Mind-body medicine

Mind-body medicine invites you into practices of movement, mindfulness, and connection with nature, and beyond. These practices nurture both body and mind, creating space for balance to return and supporting your whole being in its natural healing.

Plant medicine

‘The original form of medicine’ – rooted in centuries of natural healing and wisdom. Plants offer an invitation to reconnect with nature and its innate healing abilities. The choice of herbs is guided by their pharmacodynamics (how they interact within the body), and their energetic qualities, ensuring each remedy is tailored to support your unique needs.

Who I support

I primarily work with women who are ready for change - those with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to commit to themselves. Many of my clients are high-performing, busy women who find it hard to slow down and seek support in understanding and responding to their body's language.

Returning to optimal health is a journey, especially if you’ve been feeling out of balance for a while. It is a journey that begins with a softening and meeting yourself where you are, unfolding into self-exploration, presence and patience.

While my work primarily focuses on women, I welcome anyone who feels called to explore their own journey back to balance and optimal health.

Understanding the whole picture of your health;

A one system problem is a whole system problem.

The body is an integrated system; every system, organ, tissue, and even cell depends on one another.

Healthcare must go beyond just treating symptoms, because real, lasting change comes from honouring the integrity of
the whole body.
